AEC announces a new cooperation with O.CT Tuning
Starting from March 2017 AEC has a new cooperation with O.CT Tuning, European market leader for tuning tools with other notorious partners within the Chrysler and VAG-group.
As the request of performance optimisation solutions for RAM is constantly growing in the European market, AEC provides a safe and legal opportunity by offering the O.CT Tuning exclusive software for performance upgrades which achieves extra power, torque, safety, and extraordinary driving pleasure.
Being RAM the American pickup that breaks the European ordinary life and habits, it nowadays also appeals to a wide variety of European buyers. Its optional four-corner air suspension and air levelling system offers an unmatched ride comfort. Due to its unparalleled capabilities both as lifestyle and work truck with up to 3,500 kg towing capacity, air suspension and remarkable payload paired with high-end features, the RAM 1500 has rapidly gained popularity in Europe. The pick-up is available through AEC dealer network, with full warranty up to 48 months or 150,000km.
Thanks to O.CT Tuning IPRO (Intelligent PROgramming system) software it is possible for AEC dealers to upgrade RAM 1500 performances themselves in a safe, easy and rapid manner. Reprogramming the control unit via diagnostic interface enables the dealers to elevate RAM performances with no need of a computer.
The latest AEC press unit is a RAM 1500 Crew Cab Sport which comes with 5,7L V8 Hemi engine, 8-speed automatic transmission and air suspension. For this venue, AEC equipped the RAM with MOPAR black tubular side steps, toolbox and AEC exclusive 200 litre tank PRINS LPG system. In particular, the IPRO tool allows power upgrades for the petrol engines from 401 to 420 PS. This provides the vehicle with a substantial higher level of agility and actually more driving dynamics. Additional options boost the Vmax from 170 to 195 km/h and the cylinder deactivation, in order to permanently enjoy the V8 engine.
